Healthy Kidney 10K May 17, in Central Park brought out some of the best runners from around the region and the world.  All things considered, Warren Street did well.  Edward Gapak was 23rd overall (31:21), just one tic behind 2004 10k Olympian John Henwood.  Paul Thompson (32:27) and Zofia Wieciorkowska (38:03) were top overall masters, men and women respectively, in this highly competitive race.  It was good to see our women’s captain Jean Stemm back in action again plus the depth of 26 Warren Streeters. Open Men were 6th place (Edward Gapak, followed by a string of our top masters - Paul Thompson, Stephane Bois, Joe Garland and Pascal Lauffer – these masters continue to be the backbone of the open team)Masters Men were 1st place (Thompson, Bois, and Garland were the scorers followed by Lauffer, Jeffery Kanter, Andrew More O’Ferrall [a.k.a. AMO] and Ted Marzilli all under 40:00)  Open Women were 4th place (Zofia Wieciorkowska, Jen Peterson, Jean Stemm, Jill Walter, and Gail Edgerton) Masters Women were 2nd place (Wieciorkowska, Stemm, and Edgerton)
