CAN THEY 4-PETE : NYRR Club Team Championships: Congrats WS Men's Masters Team 1st place scores were: Paul Thompson who once again led WS winning teammates Jorgr Porado, Peter Heimgartner, Jim Stemm & John Nelson; close behind in a supporting role Flipo Rodrigo, Jeremy Johnson, Gary Brode, Kwok Ming Cheng, Kevin Reilly, Joe Pascarella & Paul Fetscher. The open team was Eduard Gapak, P. Thompson, Sebastian Babrlet, J. Parodo, P. Heimgartner, J. Stemm, J. Nelson, F. Rodrigo, Robert Reese & J. Johnson. Special congrats to Joe Pascarella taking 3rd place in his age group @ 77yrs young. WS 5th place master's women's scoring team was: Bea Huste Petersen, Jean Stemm, Celine Johnson, supported by Amy Harloff, Brenda Reilly & Joyce Liao. The open team was : B. Petersen, J. Stemm, C. Johnson, A. Harloff, Jackie Wurst, Amanda Harrington, B. Reilly & J. Liao. NYRR Fright Prostrate cancer 5 mile: Once again the WS Master Men's team take 1 place honors: the scoring members are , Paul Thompson 25:57, Jorge Pardo 26:18 & Stephane Bois 28:38. The Open team finished with a respectable 4th place award, their order of finish was. Paul Thompson , Jorge Pardo, Sebastien Baret , Stephane Bois & Fabio Casadio. Congrats to all WS runners who toed the line, special great job to new WS member Jonathan Sumpter who took 2nd place 50-59 with a time of 29:28. NYRR Team Championship 5 Mile: After all is said & done WS Masters Men & Women take 1st place honors: Men's team, Paul Thompson, Tyson Rupert, Stephane Bois, Peter Heimgartner & Jim Stemm. Our women were, Chris Glockenmeier, (Bea Huste Petersen who after 25 yrs of running for WS was ruled as a ringer by NYRR club & dropped from scoring), Jean Stemm & Celine Johnson. Congrats to all who ran & thanks to Don Wilcox for once again opening his home for a post race party, Well Done! Run for C.P. 4 mile: WS master's men keep up their solid running by taking 2nd Masters Team award & 7th open team. The scorers were Paul Thompson (1st master), Tyson Rupert, Peter Heimgartner, they were backed up by Jim Stemm, John Nelson, Jeremy Johnson, Joe Garland, Pascal Lauffer, Mike Mylott, Phil Greenwald, John Elliott & Ed Rodriguez. WS women who ran, Victoria Ganushina, Jean Stemm, Celine Johnson & Jackie Wurst, sorry but one short of a scoring team. Congrats to all who raced! Scotland 10k: Paul Thompson NYRR master runner of the year once again lead his WS Master's Men's scoring team of Tyson Rupert & Stephane Bois to victory!. They were backed up by Jim Stemm, Joe Garland, Jeremy Johnson, Pascal Lauffer & John Elliot. The WS open teams did not fair nearly as well as the masters. Our women's scoring team was Victoria Ganushina, Jean Stemm, Celine Johnson, Jacqueline Wurst & Natalie Festa. Congrats to all WS runners & supporters who braved the heavy rain for their club. Congratulations To: Oleksander Holovnytskyy & Victoria Ganushina, they each took first place honors at the NYRR Colon Cancer 4 mile race in Central Park. Great job! Coogan's 5K: WS Master' men's team continue their winning ways by taking 1st team award, as usual they were led by Paul Thompson in 15:56, Stephan 16:46 & Tyson Rupert 17:12. They were backed up by Pascal Lauffer & Jeremy Johnson. This was our open team with the addition of Oleksander Holovnytskyy 16:22. Joe Pascarella took 2nd place in his age group. WS open women's team was Victoria Ganushina, Jean Stemm, Beth Cisar, Celine Johnson, Janette Anderson, Natalie Festa & Billie Moten. Thanks to all the WS runners for ran.
